Controlo Cargo Services Ltd was established in 1977 concentrating on deep sea shipping with containerised as well as conventional and break-bulk services. We have expert knowledge of all documentation including letters of credit, bank negotiations, consular requirements, bills of lading and customs formalities.

The purchase of the company by Star Cargo Plc in November 1991 introduced dedicated road trailer operations for full or part loads together with a range of European groupage services.
Relocation near to Birmingham International Airport meant that an airfreight division could be established and a full worldwide airfreight service is offered.
A network of European and Worldwide agents has been nurtured and Controlo Cargo Services is today able to offer it’s customers a professional and total logistical package with a single point of contact.
